Overview
The NM-Solar series is a solar energy-storage UPS power-supply board for low-power IoT devices.
Model NM-Solar-4.2V/3A accepts USB-C, DC adapter, or 6 V / 18 V solar-panel input with selectable MPPT, charges a 1S lithium-ion battery pack (up to 4.2 V / 3 A), and provides three plug-in output slots (PACK direct / 5 V·3.3 V / 12 V). Main-board standby current is as low as 30 µA.
Built for LoRa, Zigbee, Meshtastic / MeshCore nodes, remote sensor terminals, agricultural monitoring, GNSS fixed stations, and short-term UPS backup for home or small security equipment.

Why NM-Solar
- Three inputs in one: USB-C 5V, DC adapter (9-12V), 6V or 18V solar panel
-
☀️ True MPPT solar input — selectable 6 V or 18 V MPPT operating voltage, supports 10–50 W panels
-
🔋 1–4 parallel 18650 cells — automatic pack balancing, full reverse-polarity / over-charge / over-current / over-voltage / short-circuit protection
-
🔌 Three plug-in output slots — mix & match 5 V/3.3 V, 12 V, and direct PACK output modules (up to 12 A) as your project needs
-
🔁 Automatic input priority — solar/DC takes priority over USB-C seamlessly
-
🌙 Ultra-low power design — 30 µA main-board standby; output modules feature undervoltage shutdown & auto-recovery, validated through 1,200 low-light undervoltage tests
-
🔆 At-a-glance status — four-level battery capacity LEDs plus CHG / FULL charge indicators
-
🛡️ UPS functionality — keeps your node running through nights and cloudy days
